Menu Options


The selections provided in the KwikReports top scroll menu navigate you through the different sections of the application for data entry. These selections are based on the Report Type selected within the first menu option (Reports). For example, only sections applicable to the Wind Mitigation report will show in the top scroll menu when "Wind Mit" is selected as the report type. All selections appear when the "Show All Report Data" selection is chosen in the Reports section.

This section of our User's Guide is a basic outline of the use for each section included for data entry within the KwikReports application. Further instructions for data entry of each section are included in the Report Writing section of this User's Guide.

                                            

REPORTS
The Reports section is used to select the report type being performed for the selected inspection. Reports also include buttons with functions to clear all data from your previous inspection and delete all photos from the device/KwikReports application.
INSPECTION
The Inspection section is used to download open inspection orders and insert data inputted on your KwikReports.com order form. The Inspection section also allows you to delete inspections from your device and move the inspection to the "Archived" folder on your KwikReports account after they are no longer needed.
CLIENTS
The Client section is used to incorporate downloaded client data with your inspection. This data reflects information inputted on your KwikReports.com order form saving you valuable time from data entry in the field. The Client section also offers additional features like using your device to phone the client or agent direct from the Client screen.
START
The Start section includes data about the parties attending your inspection, the climate conditions, and building details about your subject property. Some fields are automatically populated from data inputted on your KwikReports.com order form saving you valuable time from data entry in the field.
EXTERIOR
The Exterior section includes data entry selections about the site and exterior building features of the subject property.
ROOF
The Roof Section includes data entry selections for the different roof sections installed and the associated roof elements. The Roof Section also provides data entry for Uniform Wind Mitigation Inspections, Four Point Insurance Inspections, and Roof Certification Inspections.
INTERIOR
The Interior section provides data entry for observations such as interior ceilings, walls, flooring, cabinetry, and fireplaces.
INSULATION
The Insulation section provides data entry for observations such as roof insulation, foundation wall insulation, and crawl space insulation.
STRUCTURE
The Structure Section provides data entry for overall structural details including roof, roof support, and foundation. The Exterior Section also provides data entry for Uniform Wind Mitigation Inspections, Four Point Insurance Inspections, and Roof Certification Inspections.
ELECTRIC
The Electric Section provides data entry for electrical elements of the subject property, such as electrical service, panels & sub panels, distribution wiring, protection, and installed safety features (smoke and carbon monoxide detectors). The Electric Section also provides data entry for Four Point Insurance Inspections.
HVAC
The HVAC Section provides data entry for the heating and cooling elements installed in the subject property. Users can enter specific data such as age, model number, serial number, and fuel type for each system installed. The HVAC Section also provides data entry for Four Point Insurance Inspections.
PLUMBING
The Plumbing Section provides data entry for the plumbing elements installed in the subject property such as plumbing supply, distribution, and drainage. The Plumbing Section also provides data entry for Four Point Insurance Inspections.
DRYWALL
The Drywall Section provides data entry for a threshold inspection for the presence of defective (Chinese) drywall The Drywall Report provides a reporting format accepted by national lenders and insurers for homes built between 2003 and 2008.
DATABASE
The Database section provides photo management and a database of comments for photo labeling. The database entries identify the location, system, components and condition to accurately describe the photo taken. This database is installed with nearly 2,000 entries that are fully customizable by the user. The user can also add on to this database in order to accurately describe unique situations.
UPLOAD
The Upload section is the conduit used to deliver completed reports to Clients right from the KwikReports application. This section also provides a field audit check to make sure all of the systems included in the report type have been saved. Another feature of the Upload section is the ability to import previous inspections for editing.
HELP
The Help section provides users with a direct link to our online support systems. This button navigates users to the KwikReports support site for online support.
